Sonar is a very common technique used in submarines and other underwater vessels. It uses sound propagation to detect objects in the water.

In this project, we have used ultrasonic sensor, servo motor connected to the microcontroller. The servo motor is used to rotate the radar system from 0 to 180 degree and the distance between the integrated system and the obstacle is calculated by the ultrasonic sensor.

The Processing IDE helps to draw a graph around the radar system and the obstacle detected by the sonar waves emitted from ultrasonic sensor is denoted by red marking.

In this project, we have used soil moisture sensor connected to the microcontroller, which can sense the level of moisture content present in irrigation field. It has a level detection module in which we can set a reference value. In addition to this, we also have used a submersible water pump module attached to the motor driver.

When the reference value set for dryness of the soil is reached, it automatically initiates the motor pump to irrigate the soil till the wet moisture level of the soil is reached.

It creates unhygienic conditions for people. To avoid all such situations we have implemented a project called Smart dustbin using GSM.

In this project, the dustbin is interfaced with microcontroller based system having 2 ultrasonic sensors. One ultrasonic sensor is used to detect, if anyone comes before the dustbin and automatically open the lid of the dustbin. Here to open the dustbin lid, we have used 180 degree servo motor.

The other ultrasonic sensor which is placed inside the dustbin will continuously monitor the level of waste. If the waste reaches a particular distance inside the dustbin, gsm will send SMS to the nearby corporation office/employee and the status of the dustbin level is displayed in the LCD screen.

Here, in this project, a switch/push button is allocated for each political party. In the real time voting system, the voter will be required to show his Aadhar card as his identity proof. Here, we have used RFID card for identity and then each voter have to press their own passcode like OTP to proceed for choosing their preferred candidate from the panel of buttons. The final vote is then displayed onto an LCD for the satisfaction of voters. In the end, the result can be automatically calculated by pressing the result button.

In this project, we have used MQ-2 gas sensor. It is a metal oxide semiconductor, which is a robust Gas sensor suitable for sensing LPG, Smoke, Alcohol, Propane, Hydrogen, Methane and Carbon Monoxide concentrations in the air.  We have also included a buzzer and an LED connected to the microcontroller.

The detector will detect the smoke and notify the user through the buzzer and red LED if the smoke density is above the safety limit.

They are used for the purposes of tracking, access control, supply chain management, books tracking in libraries, tollgate systems etc.,

In this project we have used RFID card which has 2 components, the tag which authenticates the user and the reader, which will be implemented in the door. Then we have used 180 degree servo motor which is fixed at the back side of the door along with a 3D printed lock system.
